     Peggy Lee is a multiple Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter/actress from the golden age of yester-year and most known for her hit cover track “Fever”. Extremely talented, Ms Lee was off to LA.. in the 30’s at only age 17 to begin a lifelong career in music, sharing her incredible voice with the world into the 1990’s. I thought this might be a bit more fun version to get you all in a good mood since it is in fact Monday (blah). This track was a hit in 1947 but I think it’s still fabulous today. Makes me feel carefree and fun, like there’s not a trouble in the world. :-)

Fun Facts:

• Peggy was often know as “Miss Peggy”, and was the inspiration for the popular Muppets character “Miss Piggy”
• In 1943 she sold over a million copies of just one song
• Ms. Lee wrote lyrics, sang songs, and voiced FOUR of the characters from Disney’s “Lady and the Tramp”
