I really Can’t Deal with #Christianity      So I randomly came across this on Facebook today. And if I can be frank, it makes me want to set myself on fire. I mean, can the fundementalist fanatics make organized religion look any stupider? Now I’m sure this photo was made by some nice person sitting in the living room thinking they’re clever and not by some evil tyrant. But the problem is that so many of these “good people” have been taught the wrong thing. They are taught being gay is wrong, but to ignore all the other words in the same passage when it is inconvenient. They are taught the words respect and love in the same sentence as persecution and hate. They say their God is loving and beautiful while murdering others in his name. They say sex out of marrige is evil, yet believe in a story about an invisible sperm and not the absolutely obvious fact that the bitch stepped out ! Personally, I am a spiritual person and believe in something bigger than myself. But I do not for a moment claim to represent Him or It, or whatever. Organized religion has become a cult breeding far more hate than good. And in the example of this picture, far more stupidity than truth. Of course, I speak only of the people that take it to a dark place. I know many people personally who embrace Christianity and are some of the most wonderful people you could imagine. Unfortunately these days they are sadly not the norm. This picture might be funny… Except that they can physically feel their mother, they are physically attached to her, and it’s a biological fact that her body is giving them nutrients. It’s doesn’t make any sense to compare this to god, who you cannot touch, feel, or have a direct physical association with. Not to mention we all have the proof there is life after mom because we are born whereas with God there is no way to know, no one has ever brought back say, a piece of the Lords beard. What exactly is the point of this picture ?
