What the HELL Happened To Sinead O’Conner?

    This lady had a number 1 hit on almost every chart in the world in 1990. I’m not sure there is anyone who didn’t think that “Nothing Compares 2 U” was one of the best songs of the decade, and the video incredibly captivating. She was a real talent, but apparently fame and fortune present a deceiving image to the public.

    She has been known to rant on Twitter. And by rant, I mean mostly a lot of batshit crazy which really breaks my heart. But today she seems to have really snapped. In what she calls an “urgent need of help” for all the world to see she posted that she was desperate for a psychiatrist and needed medication immediately.

 ”i realise i will be in trouble 4 doing this but.. ireland is a VERY hard place to find help in. So having tried other ways 1st im asking does any1 know a psychiatrist in dublin or wicklow who could urgently see me today please? im really un-well… and in danger.

Whoa. Yikes. I used to want to be rich and famous. Now I kinda just want to be rich. I know not everyone who’s famous loses it, but it certainly helps facilitate it ! Sinead’s deeply tormented beliefs about her religion threaten to swallow her whole, and having such a large public forum can sometimes be detrimental. I really hopes she get’s better soon. Anyhoo, here’s a video from better times.

**on a side note: Sinead did in fact go to the hospital today, no word on what happened, but she was last seen going back into her home with her kids.
